Slip on flange, also called SO flange. It's a type of flange slides over the pipe with internal design is slightly larger than the pipe. Since the inside diameter of the flange is slightly larger than the outer diameter of the steel pipe, the pipes can be directly inserted into the inner diameter of the SO flanges and connected to pipe and equipment via weld at the top and bottom of the flange. 

The slip on flange can be produced into a raised face (RF) with 2mm and flat face (FF) sealing line.

Slip-On Flanges are probably the most common type of flanges in the industry and are ideal for lower pressure applications.  You do not have to specify the pipe schedule when using slip-on flanges due to the fact that its inside diameter is determined by the outside diameter of the pipe.  This outside diameter of the pipe does not change for the different schedules.  This often makes these easier to stock for vendors. Compared with the weld neck flange, the slip-on flange has the advantage of lower cost and easier installation.
